The engineers at snom have finally added some long awaited features to the snom M9. At first glance, the snom m9R looks identical to the snom m9 but with some major differences. The snom M9R adds:
- Repeater functionality
- Higher data storage capacity
- Greatly improved voice quality
- Optional industry standard protective shell
The repeater functionality can only be guaranteed with a snom m9r base station and snom m9r handset and will not work with the snom m9 model. The final QA testing with the repeater is currently underway and expected to be completed soon so that deliveries can begin in Q3/Q4 2012.
